: : 2005 HBCU Cruise: What Happened On The Ship, Stays On The Ship, BUT...
Quick shoutout to all my friends, new and old from this year's cruise...
To: Cocktails, Abyss and Jon--thank you for doing such a phenomenal show. It was a pleasure working with you guys and I'm up for it again whenever you guys are ready:)I have to come check out your open mic night event so clear a couch!:)
To: our dinner partners, Shajuan, Crystal, Sarah and Daphne...we had some interesting and educational discussions over dinner, ladies. (and who can forget the chicken dance!)...hope to see you guys on the ship next year.
To: the brothas in M54--Brandon, Remon and Mike...ya'll are too funny. Despite the fact that you guys slept a lot, I had a lot of fun hanging with ya'll:)...hope you get over that hit in the spades game and come on next year. It really wouldn't be the same without you guys.
To: Monique from Bennett...GIRL, you are crazy and don't change a bit! Get back to me about where I can find that shirt you had on...love it!
To: Nyle from the NY...it's funny that we didn't talk on the ship, but we live so close to each other!...thanks for the ride home from the airport...and now you have 2 reasons to come to Stamford--the mall AND my pool on those hot summer days:)
To: D-Star...what can I say, babes? Your smile kills 'em everytime:)...thanks for the nomination and I know I better see you next year...
J-Cuts, same for you. Who would be the official pimp of the ship?:)
To: The Light--I appreciate the time we spent talking and laughing. You are extraordinary, but oddly enough, we never exchanged contact information. Feel free to send me a shout out if you want to continue the conversation.
To Bolaji, Tamara, Nicole, Shannon and Phillip--thank you for your patience with all my questions and concerns with the Scribes n Vibes show. You provided this wonderful platform for us to showcase our company and we appreciate it. Thanks and you'll def see me next year... (hey, you might see me on this trip until my KIDS start going...what's that...another 24 years??..just kidding:)..)
To Roni-- Girl, you did your thing hosting our Love Entertainmment event. Thank you for doing such a good job and of course, we had some good times...i'm still telling people that story about you bustin' out at the 80's party!:)lol
I know I don't even have to ask...same time, same place...HBCU Alumni Cruise 2006. Let's do it....
To: my illustrious sorors of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated...so much fun meeting and partying with you guys. It was nothing but true sisterhood on the ship and I expected nothing less because that's how DST does. Let's do our best to keep in touch and keep those crimson and cream ties strong all over the network.
To anyone I may have overlooked, please charge it to my head and not my heart. I'm still reeling from that "first-day-back-at-work-and-my-inbox-is-scaring-me" feeling.
