I agree with the previous writer. Howard isn�t the only HBCU. Maybe you should consider broadening your scope of potential HBCUs to attend. I attend Alabama A&M University in Normal, Al. I�m entering my 3rd year in electrical engineering and my experiences here have been priceless. The university is small enough to develop that one-on-one student/professor relationship yet large enough to meet a variety of diverse individuals that hale from all corners of the US and several international countries. The environment is very conducive for learning. The city is fairly quiet and the crime rate is relatively low. I definitely suggest that you continue to consider HBCUs. The experience is priceless!!
