Go with your gut instinct... but sweetie, almost all HBCU's are in the hood, near the hood, or are aroundt he corner from the hood. Don't assume that the neighborhood will influence the type of education you'll receive. I'm a little partial to Howard... but pray on it, and follow your heart.
