Counterintelligence Investigator - TS/SCI with Polygraph (Open)
We are GDIT. We support and secure some of the nations most complex government, defense, and intelligence missions. Our work has impacton national security, our Intelligence Community (IC) partners, and on each of us who contribute to the mission. This role requires an onsite presence in the Los Angeles area and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph at the time of application. Due to the nature of the work, were only able to move forward with candidates who already meet both requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesThe CI Investigator conducts a wide range of counterintelligence inquiries focused on identifying and addressing insider threats. In this role, you will: Analyze information from multiple sources and conduct comprehensive subject interviews Prepare detailed investigative reports and maintain case documentation Respond quickly to internal and external referrals related to potential threat activity Liaise regularly with IC partners, law enforcement, and military intelligence organizations Coordinate responses to complex CI and cyber concerns, including possible espionage, terrorism, and compromise of classified material Protect client equities and objectively assess threat information Minimum Qualifications Experienced in interviewing, elicitation, and debriefing Prior interaction with IC agencies; familiarity with DoW CI collection requirements Completion of a recognized federal or state CI training program (FBI, FLETC, AFOSI, NCIS, Army MI, JCITA, DCITA, etc.) Ability to travel worldwide Relocation is at the candidates expense Desired Qualifications Strong knowledge of federal laws, Executive Orders, and IC/DoW CI guidance Deep understanding of IC, CI, and law enforcement organizations and their roles Knowledge of adversary methods, CI operations, and security practices for protecting classified information Experience with CI research, analysis, and analytic reporting Familiarity with CI support to SCRM, CFIUS, R&D, critical infrastructure protection, and acquisition activities Working knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and related legal/ethical considerations Ability to conduct systematic interviews and produce accurate, complete reports Experience assessing CI leads from internal and external partners Requirements Education: Bachelors degree and 5+ years of related experience, or Masters degree and 3+ years of related experience Location: Onsite in Los Angeles.This position requires daily onsite collaboration. Remote or hybrid work is not available due to mission needs. Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).Candidates without this clearance are not eligible for consideration due to contract requirements.
