Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse- Sunset Terrace Behavioral Health Family Health Center.

In this role, the successful candidate The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists the Registered Nurse in the implementation of the nursing process on his/her assigned patients. The practice of nursing as an LPN is defined as performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding health teaching health counseling and provisions of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
NYS LPN License
1-2 years of experience in hospital based nursing, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB/Gyn. Ambulatory care experience preferred
Willingness to devote the time required completing assigned tasks on schedule
BLS required
Infection Control NYS required course completion certificate required
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Mandarin preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association is required at the time of hire and is required to be maintained..

Required Licenses: Practical Nurse License
